Wow! I know Sprint has its moments, but wow.... people. I've been a Sprint customer for almost 3 1/2 yrs. I've had issues myself. But for the most part, they were resolved. Service is touch and go. It's not always pleasurable. But I have unlimited. For $30 less than my previous Verizon contract. I hate Verizon with a passion. All you claiming how horrible Sprint is? Really?
I was paying $108 a month for almost 2 yrs, for unlimited NOTHING on Verizon. 450 anytime mins (unlimited mobile to mobile on Verizon network ONLY) 500 texts. And 2 gbs data (that ALWAYS went over, because the service sucked that bad). I was paying for services I never received. For almost 2 yrs. They said I could walk without paying the early termination fee. I did. 3 yrs later, they are still coming after me. I owe them over $475 for what?
I switched to Sprint. I started out paying only $76 a month. Unlimited Everything. On a 2 yr contract. I got both my Galaxy S3 and contract terms through Amazon. Guess to much I paid total for the S3? It was only 6 months after its initial release. I got it for a PENNY. $54.02 with tax. When it still was $200 across all carriers. Do NOT buy from Sprint directly. That's where most of you make mistakes.
I had that phone 8 months, problem free. Then my girlfriend was having issues with T-Mobile. She's been a customer for over 8 yrs with them. Her new galaxy S2 she got and added another contract for got stolen just 2 days later. She had insurance. T-Mobile did NOTHING! Didn't try to find it. NOTHING. Told her she needed to pay $150 on top of another $36 to activate not a NEW replacement, but a REFURBISHED previously owned one!
I took and put her on my plan. Unfortunately we couldn't add her through Amazon. Sprint wouldn't allow it. So I went to a store. Where I knew a guy, because I spoke with him before. Not only did he knock the original $200 contract fee for the phone down to only $42 for another GALAXY S3, he put us on the MY WAY plan. UNLIMITED EVERYTHING. Both phones. I pay $184 a month. That includes insurance on both. AND he gave her the flip cover case ($40 value) AND full body ZAGG invisibleshield protector ($45 VALUE) for FREE! I only knew this guy by shooting ** with him in store. Not because we were actual friends. I had my S3 for 2 full years problem free before renewing my contract. My girlfriend absolutely loved hers.
Then I happened to be a lucky winner to one of Sprint's giveaways. I won an HTC ONE E8 (like an M8 but plastic). I got it FREE. No contract needed. From SPRINT. I gave it to my girlfriend. FREE upgrade for her. I wasn't really feeling it. Neither was she. But she's been using it for 5 months now. And has grown to love it. Service is still spotty. And this is a Sprint Spark phone. But they are still working on the towers.
I upgraded to an LG G3, 6 months ago. I went to Best Buy and renewed my contract. They price matched Amazon. (they do, do that you know. Same as Wal-Mart and Target.) I paid only a PENNY for it. :-D sup? $56.02 for a $700 phone. And it was still $250 on a 2 yr contract on all carriers. Including Best Buy. I got it for a PENNY. Because I KNEW they had to honor it.
DO NOT BUY DIRECTLY FROM SPRINT. DO NOT GET YOUR CONTRACTS FROM THEM EITHER. Go to Amazon, Target, Best Buy etc. You'll get better deals. And still have access to plans that Sprint no longer carries. Sprint hasn't had the MY WAY plan for over a year. But Target and Best Buy can still get you on it. That plan is Unlimited Talk, Text, Data. For $50 for the plan, $30 for unlimited data. With tax it's roughly $73 then add insurance it's about $86. Much better than paying $108 for very limited mins, text, and 2 gigs of data. Like I was on Verizon. Yes Sprint Service can get pretty **. But it's not always them. Some of the apps updates can cause serious issues. I haven't updated YouTube since I got the phone. Same goes for Google maps. Each update breaks them. READ THE REVIEWS.
All in all I get what I pay for. Me and my girlfriend don't ever have to worry about overages. Hidden fees. NOTHING. Just pay our bills. I've been reimbursed and had various fees wiped off. On several occasions. Don't like who you get on the other end? Hang up, call back. Get someone else. Don't like a representative in a store? Go to another one. No carrier is perfect. But out of all the Carriers, Sprint is the FASTEST, at releasing updates for the devices themselves. So that's a plus in my book. Unfortunately, we don't get simultaneous data and talk. Like Verizon or AT&T may. But we get TRUE unlimited data (no throttling). For only $30 extra on some plans. Verizon charges up to $50 extra just to get 6gb. Or AT&T up to $80 for 10gb. Not worth it. Read the fine print people. Know exactly what you're getting into.
I knew Sprint wasn't the best or the fastest going in. But I've had worse. So no major complaints from me. I take care of my phones too. I've never BROKE a single cellphone, out of many. My girlfriend has though. So normally I don't bother with insurance. Insurance only covers so you do not have to pay FULL price for a replacement. You pay a deductible based on the overall cost of your device. Up to $350. They are NEVER new. Always refurbished. Same goes if you buy it outright. Same as car insurance. But if you purchase the device and insurance from places such as Best Buy, you get a replacement INSTANTLY. Not having to wait however long for it to get shipped to you. Do your research.
Lastly, if you are having network issues, update your PRL and Profile. Under Updates in your settings. Check to see if the phone itself needs to be updated. Sometimes it helps. And every now and then turn it off. Then wait a minute or two, turn it on. That can help. Most importantly download the App DRIPPLER. It will tell you everything you need to know about your specific device. Known issues, fixes, news, games, etc. And best of all it's free.
I've had all carriers. Verizon (big talk, rip off, service so so), AT&T (meh, overpriced), T-Mobile (no true 4g, and the only unlimited you get is Unlimited throttling), MetroPCS (decent actually for the price). Sprint (not the best. But at least I get what I pay for.) I average 30 gbs of data a month. BY MYSELF! I don't ever use Wi-Fi. Not unless I need to download a large file or app. Sprint is not perfect. No carrier is. But you will NOT find anything better for the prices they charge.
This review was written and posted entirely, using my LG G3. On....Sprint's network. Granted my service isn't as great here in Bullhead City AZ (the city in general sucks, so it wasn't really a surprise), as it was in West Covina (LA) CA. And I've had a few nights of no data service at all for up to an hour. But I've only ever experienced 3 dropped calls in the entire 2 1/2 yrs I've been with them. Across 3 entirely different phones. It's not always the network. Can blame it on faulty apps too ya know. But for the most part, I'm satisfied. And I'd rather pay less for more than more for less.

Where to begin... I switched from Verizon to Sprint and it was the worst idea I've had in a very long time. I was trying to save money and my Verizon bill was about $100, sometimes $120 when I exceeded my data allowance. Bills were piling up, so I went to Sprint and signed up for their iPhone for Life plan and leased an iPhone 6. I was happy at first. I thought I did the right thing by trying to save some money. When I got home I set up WiFi on my phone. Never thought twice about anything. About 4 weeks into my new plan I get a notification from our home internet provider saying we have reached our data limit. I felt really stupid that I had forgotten I had unlimited data on my Sprint plan. So I stopped connecting to wifi and turned on my data usage. That is when the problems started.
I would be sitting in the same spot and my phone would switch from 3G to No Service to 1x to just being completely blank then back to 3G then repeat... I could connect to the internet maybe 5 minutes if I was lucky. Other than that it was awful and unreliable. It is STILL awful and unreliable. I decided to check my coverage on their map. I plugged in my address and tada! My house is not located in the right spot on the map. So that means the guy in the store told me I had coverage when really I didn't because the map didn't show my address in the correct spot. Not his fault, but still - an extenuating circumstance. Where I ACTUALLY live, I am literally right on the line of off-network roaming and fair voice/data coverage which explains my terrible service.
I called Sprint and talked to a customer rep and was told he needed to speak with his supervisor first. I didn't want to cancel my plan because it was an awesome deal, but I couldn't even use the service I was told I would receive. The rep said his supervisor told him once I exceeded my roaming limit, they would send me an email for excessive roaming and once I received that I would be able to get out of my plan without owing anything since it was past the 14 day return policy. He referred to it as the 'get out of jail free' card. I was very polite and said I would wait for the email to arrive. Well, a couple days later I receive the email that my roaming service has been suspended for excessive roaming. So, I called them back. The service rep said to go to the store and they could take care of everything.
I get in my car and drive 30 minutes to the nearest Sprint store just for the salesman to say he can't do anything and I need to call the corporate store to get it figured out. I call the corporate store - GUESS WHAT? They tell me they can't do anything and to call customer service to get it straightened out - the very people who told me to go to the store to get this crap done. By now, I'm livid. I call customer care back and after an hour on the phone explaining my situation they tell me they cannot make a 'case' for me because the out of service contract issue is only for people who MOVE out of coverage area, not ones who already lived in one. I was given the roaming and lease department's numbers. I had to wait because they were closed over the weekend and ended up calling the very next week.
I call the roaming department and the person I talked to had an AWESOME attitude (sarcasm) to begin with. I explained my story again for like the 6th time. She asked me "what are we trying to do?" I said I was told to call and have a case created for me because of what is going on. She looks up my address and tells me I have coverage. I tell her again that my address isn't shown correctly on the map. She says she can't create a case for me because she has "nothing to go off of". She tells me she can see that I've used 4 gigs of data and that I have coverage (obviously I use data away from home). She says "maybe you can try turning off your data roaming because you're picking up a stronger signal from another tower and it is interfering with the Sprint network." I told her I've been there, done that, and it makes my service literally nonexistent.
I remind her that I have already exceeded my data in the first month of having the phone. She says I can get out of my plan anytime but I will have to pay the remaining lease payments off for the phone ($505) and if I want to keep the phone I have to pay another $200 for the buyout. No deposit back (bye bye $185). Nothing. Won't build a case, won't talk to a supervisor, won't do anything for me. I hung up in tears. I saved a measly $15 for a service plan I can't use at home. I called customer service back AGAIN. I asked if I could arrange for someone to take over my phone plan and lease agreement. The guy tells me "yeah, you can do that." I asked if I had to pay anything out of pocket to do so and he says he doesn't think I will. So I read him the fine print on Sprint's plan transfer paperwork and suddenly he's like OOHHHHHH (as if it is all coming back to him). He tells me to call the leasing department for more information.
Beyond angry and stressed out I call the leasing department. The woman I spoke to in that department says I will have to pay off the phone before someone can take over the plan. Someone else can't take over lease payments or even run their credit to see how much the monthly payment would change, nothing. NO OPTIONS. I hung up and chain-smoked 3 cigarettes. I was done. I AM done.
I'm willing to admit that I shouldn't have been so forgetful about the 14 day return policy. I am graduating in just a couple days from college and I am up to my ears in stress. I literally just forgot. Honest mistake. But what I can't get over is the fact Sprint's customer service department has absolutely no clue what is going on. They don't even understand their own rules. They didn't even try to offer help when I told them their coverage map is incorrect. I never even thought that my address would show up wrong - never in a million years and here I am paying for it.
I also realize a contract is a contract, but if a business is more concerned with rules than customer service they will never succeed. There were wrongs on both sides and they refuse to accept any responsibility for the error or even offer me a decent explanation or a solution. They could have my deposit - I don't want it back. They could have settled the difference with me - that would have been fine, too. But I have literally received nothing. Absolutely nothing. I have taken their surveys over the customer service, I have reported their network problems, and I've called customer service more times than I can count. I don't know what else to do, but I will never be a Sprint customer ever again after this, even if they miraculously expand their service areas and become #1 in the nation on coverage. I will never forget this.

I'm very disappointed with Sprint. I was informed by a Sprint customer service worker that a person not me logged into my sprint account and blocked everyone from texting me except two people. I have also learned that someone had an email set up using my phone number. I did not set this up. I had over 1000 Text messages that were sent in and out of this email account. In three months. Picture messages sent from this email account 120 in three days. Someone found out my password and set this up on my account. I DID NOT authorize or give anyone permission to do this. I believe someone use some type of app to set this up...
After doing a ton of research I believe this person used Google Voice of some sort to set this up. I went through three phones a prepaid phone through sprint and the same thing. happened. I change my phone number three times one of which I had for 21 years. I was a loyal customer of Sprint for eight or more years. Some text messages were spoofed from this email account. I have lost friends because of the text messages that were sent. My privacy is being violated by some devious person. This occurred for over a year. I was told to change my number get a new phone. My network number was changed. Same thing keep happening.
My concern is I may be a victim of harassment. I have an IP address that was given to me by a sprint customer service worker. I have left sprint while under contract because this person has access to my sprint account. I couldn't view my bill. I was a third party viewing my account. Should I contact Google Voice regarding this issue? Should I obtain a court order for my sprint account? Please help. Sprint gave up and close the door on this issue. We need to take a stand and stand up for what's right.

Sprint told me they would pay for all cancellation charges with my existing company if I came over to their company. I asked over and over "will I be slapped with hidden charges?" NO they said.. I now owe Sprint my monthly bill PLUS my monthly bill to Verizon for *hidden charges*.. If I had of known this I would NEVER of left Verizon. I trusted Sprint and thought I had done everything the right way.. Sprint was very misleading in all ways. Yes I did get two prepaid American Express card that totaled 520.00$ but it was not anywhere near enough to pay all the fees and charges I was left with.

After purchasing a phone and getting home to find out that I had 0 bar on my phone with no service, I took the phone back to Sprint to cancel the contract, which I have 14 days to do. I had to give them a check for the phone I turned in and they were going to refund that money back to me within 5 days. 5.5 months later, I still have not received any refund. I did speak to a class action lawyer and as soon as I can find 40 people that have the same type of experience, we are going to file a class action against them. If you would like to be a part of this, email me.

Sprint has given me service for 12 years. Out of those 12 years, 4 years have been the worst. With them "updating" their towers I've been out of service for days sometimes even up to a week. They sent me an airwave device where I would just have service at home. I have epilepsy so my phone is something I need in case of in emergency. I explained that to the supervisor and all she told me was she could credit me $5 for the inconvenience and send out the airwave. I had no choice since I was stuck in a 2 year contract and I depend on service and PAY for service. I now had to get service with Verizon on top of this. So now I was stuck paying two cell phone bills. A Sprint bill of around $280 and a Verizon bill of $290. I have 4 lines open for my family. I then was so angry I couldn't juggle two bills at one I terminated my Sprint service and had to pay the termination bill of about almost $900. Service was never restored in my area before I shut off.

Sprint is horrible. I have had 6 lines with them for over 3 years. They are far happier focusing on new accounts versus maintaining a relationship with existing clients. Their reps lie and move your account to something better for them when you visit the store. Then when you call they do not get back to you in a timely manner. I ported out a number over the weekend, received my bill today with a pre-payment charge for the single line I ported. Even though there will be zero service they told me I have to pay. If I ever ran my business like they do, I would be out of business.

I have been a Sprint customer for a long time -- over 10 years. So I have been grandfathered in to unlimited. In December 2014, wife and I purchased iPhone 6 plus. Happy with the phone, but not happy with the Sprint cell coverage!!!

My wife and I first signed up for Sprint 11 years ago. We have been with other carriers but went back to Sprint. I have had the pleasure of speaking to people from all over the world, and none of them are on the same page. I've had a spending limit put on my account, and I cannot remove it. Funny thing is it cost me $7.99 a month to be limited on my spending. I was told to switch to auto pay and bring my balance to zero and it would be removed. WRONG. It will be removed after 12 months. We found out about all this when we went for an upgrade. The sales person told me it would be "0" down and my bill would be $155.00 a month for 2 lines and brand new phones. NOPE. $225.00 per line down payment per line. Because there is a spending limit. I pay $180.00 now.
I spent two afternoons on the phone and in the store. They even called me at 10:00 PM to try and fix this. They didn't fix anything. Just offered apologies. I walked out of the store feeling very angry. My wife felt humiliated. She was almost to the point of tears. We were both very excited to upgrade. I am sending a register letter to the CEO and the Customer Experience Executive. I'm sure it will fall on deaf ears, but they need to know why they are losing a customer of 11 years.

We were on an Everything Data plan with Sprint for a few years. We went in to get our upgrade (which we had been told, at the time of our original phone purchase, would be a free upgrade) only to be told that there were no free upgrades anymore and that this plan no longer existed so we needed to change plans as well. (I have since found out that we could have gotten the new phone "grandfathered" onto our original plan which is really irritating.) So we went on the Framily Plan at which point I had to "market" my Framily ID with our local stores to have them put new phone accounts on it so I, and the new customers, could get the ultimate discount of $25/month.
Now, people are dropping off the plan and my bill is going up. I called to ask if I could have my phone number merged onto any other existing Framily Plans to keep the cost down and was told that since this Plan no longer exists, that they cannot transfer or merge accounts to help out their customers! So all of us whose accounts are slowly increasing are screwed! I've found that T-Mobile has a plan where they'll "pay-out" your remaining bill owed to get you to their company and I'm definitely going to check that out and Sprint can go jump in the lake as far as I'm concerned.

I walked into a Sprint Store a few months ago to look at new phones, particularly the iPhone 6. I was under an employee account at the time but I needed to convert it into a personal account as my Aunt whose account I was under was laid off. The representative at this store who helped me out was exceptionally kind and helpful. She kept reiterating that Sprint has gone away from contracts, no more contracts! I thought that was just great because who wants to be tied up in a contract for 2 years or pay penalties if you breach your contract? The rep continued to tell me about their leasing program, as a matter of fact she said this is the way they were doing business now so I really didn't have any other option...at least according to her.
She proceeded to tell me that it's only a $20 installment fee each month. After 24 months I can turn my phone in and upgrade to the latest and greatest. I asked her several different ways just to confirm if I'd be obligated to stay with Sprint if I changed my mind down the road. I also made sure I wouldn't have to pay any penalties if I made a change. The rep reassured me that I can opt out anytime and there were NO CONTRACTS! I thought that was great! So, I entrusted in this girl and signed what I was lead to believe a lease agreement to paying the $20/month for the phone since I didn't purchase it, that made sense to me. She said it was an agreement that would ensure them getting back the phone had I changed carriers or changed my mind. Once again she reassured me I would not be obligated to Sprint nor have to pay any penalties as this was not a contract.
A few months later (March 2015) due to poor quality of service in our area I decided to get Verizon. I tried returning my phone to Sprint and was told that I needed to return it to the "3rd Party" store I got it from. First of all I never knew I did this transaction with a "3rd party store". I contacted the 3rd party store only to get rejected by them too and directed right back to corporate! No one wanted my phone! I called about 5 different Sprint numbers and no one could help me out, they all said I needed to return it to the "point of sale". I was irate at this point as I spent hours and days trying to send my phone back. I have a full time career, 2 small children and didn't have this valuable time I've wasted. I dropped my phone off at the 3rd party store and said "this is where I leased the phone, so this is where I'm returning it". The guy there said he'd look into figuring a way to send it back.
I kept following up and my phone still has not been returned. I called Sprint yet again to explain what's going on and kept getting transferred. I'm then asked to pay the balance off my account, this is when I almost fainted... $753! The breakdown is $460 for terminating my lease and $200 for the remaining lease amount on my phone which I do not understand at all, it just doesn't make sense! Can someone please tell me how this legal? How this is not a contract? Sprint told their employees they were starting this leasing program because people no longer wanted to be in contracts. I'm sorry but I'd much rather be in a contract where it's $200 max to get out of than be out almost $700 for breaking a lease! This has sucked all the energy and life out of me. This is so unethical and wrong in so many ways! Sprint I hope you go down in a big way! What you're doing to people is wrong!

I've been with Sprint for about 13 years and I use to have to have great coverage and no problems with my phone but as of late all I've been having is PROBLEMS. I've called the customer service department about dropped calls, not receiving phone calls and/or text messages. I was told about the dropped calls that they see that 85% of my calls are dropped. I cannot walk around my home on my phone w/o the possibility of the call dropping. I was told that I would receive a credit which I never received. I was also told that it was because my phone was out of date (the Samsung 3 and the Samsung 4 was just released).
I then upgraded to the 4 and I still have the same problems. I get text messages that say "text message cannot be found" and it's no way of getting the actual message. I was then given a hard reset number as was told that maybe I should reset my phone weekly WHY!!! I pay over $250 a month for POOR service and coverage.

Sprint makes me so angry because I'm in class and nothing loads. When I'm in the car, Sprint always drops calls. When I call Sprint customer service, they play crappy elevator music and puts me on hold for 3267329476367976325947623 hours. I hate Sprint. I write Sprint hate mail but they never answer me. Stupid Sprint causes me so much anxiety. I DO NOT LIKE YOU SPRINT. YOU MAKE ME SAD. I tried to download music but it takes too long. I tried to download an app and it took ALL DAY. I am so done with Sprint. When I move out I will NEVER use Sprint. WORST PHONE COMPANY EVER. I WISH I HAD LIKE VERIZON OR SOMETHING ELSE. I DON'T REALLY CARE AS LONG AS IT'S NOT SPRINT!!!!! NEVER EVER GET SPRINT. IT MAKES ME ANGRY.

On or around 3rd week of May, I again spoke with ** about my case with Sprint. At this time my bill was a total of $1,438.24!! She explained to me after her meeting with the corporate office they was not happy with the Sprint store in Lafayette.
She mailed me a UPS packet so I could return the phone and contents that came with it. She then explained to me that after receiving it, she would then review my bill. On May 25th 2015 I called back to check on my status.
I am happy to report my bill with Sprint was now $148.22 which I was more then happy to pay. I will never go with Sprint again and will tell anybody that asks my opinion on phone services to stay clear of Sprint!

I needed to lower my bills because of the field of work I'm in has slowed down. I was an AT&T customer for 9 years and kept seeing the commercials on how Sprint could cut your bills in half so I decided to go talk to them. After several questions such as coverage as well as numerous other questions, the salesman convinced me I would save money and still have the same coverage I did with AT&T. Then a close friend of mine told me that 99.9% of the time when he tried calling me he would receive a recording "I'm sorry, all circuits are busy". Mind you now, this is within the city limits of Lafayette, Louisiana!! I'm self-employed and depend on my phone 24/7 for customers to get a hold of me as well as dispatch. I also would experience no coverage in areas that should have been 4G. I also would experience extremely slow Internet speeds and would have to reboot my phone several times a day among other things.
I decided to go back to AT&T after about 3 months. Now I suddenly owe over $1000.00 to Sprint!! I spoke with GE Sprint services and was told by a supervisor to return the phone and my bill would be adjusted. I am also a truck driver and was on the road at the time. She told me she would suspend my bill until I was able to return everything. I tried this yesterday on 4/26/2015. The clerk there told me he thought the bill was a bit high and since I owned the phone, suggested I try to sell it for more than what Sprint would buy back the phone at which was $300.00. The phone is is in mint condition and may 5 months old now. I'm still fighting with Sprint today to get the correct information. Stay far far away from Sprint as you can!! They are ripoffs!!

I went to Sprint to try their service. I wanted to try a different provider without signing a contract. They said I could try it for 2 weeks. I got 2 tablets and 2 phones from them. The phones and tablets were fine, but our reception and call quality were not. When we returned the phones and tablets the manager intervened to say we were too late and couldn't return the devices. We had ported the phones over the night before so we were able to return the phones, but they said we had to keep the tablets and pay for service on them.
We received the devices on a Saturday and returned them on the second Saturday. They claimed the first day counts as a full day even if you receive the device at 1159 pm. When we got home I read the terms on the back of the receipt and it clearly stated that was not true. So the manager that intervened lied to us to force us to continue with Sprint. A few weeks later, last night, I received an email from Sprint claiming we owe over $2,000, and that we are being turned over to a collection agency. This is the first I've heard of this bill which I should not owe and they are already threatening collection agency actions. Avoid the dishonesty. Avoid Sprint.

I called customer care on April 18th and I was going to disconnect my daughter's phone cuz she hasn't used it in over 2 years but the gentleman told me that I could go ahead and get this plan for $100 for two phones, plus since I was loyal customer I could get the phones for $5 each month. So I said okay I'm not going to disconnect the phone and went to the store and I was told that those plans could not be put together because those were both discounted a lot. So I called customer care and asked if they could listen to the recording. He called me back two days after that saying that they heard the recording and his supervisor is going to get back to me in 24 to 48 hours.
It's already been almost a week and have not heard anything back, but after reading all the reviews I guess they're known for not being a company of their word. Very disappointed I spent a lot of money for phones and I can't even get what I'm told!

I signed two, 2 year contracts for a WiFi hotspot and an LG tablet. Contracts were subject to a 14 day service review. I was guaranteed the best coverage 4LTE. The hotspot was broken, literally, the LG tablet had no service at my home... tablet would shut down. I returned both, exchanged WiFi for a 4 LTE modem and a Samsung tablet. Same thing... poor to no coverage at my home. Returned both within 14 day review period. Obviously, I live in a poor signal area for Sprint. Despite Sprint acknowledgement of this poor signal area, I was forced to pay $110 in RESTOCKING FEES. NONE OF THE TAXES I PAID OR THE ACTIVATION FEES WERE REIMBURSED. SPRINT IS A VERY POOR BUSINESS MODEL AND OUTRIGHT LIED TO ME.

I opted out of Sprint about three-and-a-half weeks early. The opportunity presented itself and I had to act because I was tired of paying $140 a month for one line (Yes, one line.). I was fully aware of the $325 cancellation fee due to early termination; in fact, I was okay with this. The company I changed to does a buy-back program that will pay off any early termination fees and remaining balance on your previous carrier's account. Since we are heading into May, I figured my bill for May would be available in a more reasonable amount of time.
I log onto Sprint and see the warning message with the cancellation fee. Fine. No biggie. No other bill has been pulled yet. Working in a call center, when a member requests their final bill, it's usually something you can provide with no problem. Apparently, my bill for May won't generate until May 25. My due date is May 22 (I would be delinquent by three days according to this.). I used the online chat feature to see if there is any way this can be done. The representative was apologetic but not very flexible in wanting to get this expedited (There is ALWAYS something you can do to alleviate a problem like this one.).
Instead of offering to see if this can be done, he simply said I would be given a two-week extension until 05/10/2015. I would then need to contact them again to get the second extension done so that I don't go into small claims court (Spoiler alert: I'm not going into small claims court for their inability to generate a simple document.). Their LTE speed is laughable at best and their 3G coverage is equivalent to a potato. Their live (in-store) reps are always very friendly, but not the most educated (I had separate problems to boot but those were quickly handled.). I'm not sure why I ever went to Sprint but I know I won't be going back.

Don't listen your sprint's agent telling you that your phone is eligible for international phone call, and try that service. You will get charged $3.50 per every minute, and there will be no way to get the money back. They call it "standard rate".

I have had Sprint for several years, the service went from bad to worse. I complained multiple times about the slow speed of service and the huge amount of surcharges every month. Nothing improved sadly over the course of time, so I decided to switch service providers. Sprint told me multiple times that I would be able to make some kind of payments or installments over the final bill with the early termination fees included.
I get a letter in the mail and a phone call from sprint telling me that I have less than 30 days to pay them over $1000.00 or they will send me to collections, regardless if I make payments. I told them that I would make payments every month or even twice a month, because I have never missed a payment or been late. They are basically acting like thugs, and shaking me down. After dealing with them and their threats I have made sure that I would never ever ever do business with them or recommend them to anyone. It is such a shame that this is how you treat someone that was a customer for years. Please avoid a leasing program with them at all times.

Awful service. Sprint should refund all its customers. Data works when it wants to. AT&T has Sprint beat hands down. I'm so pissed with this company - can't wait until this contract is over. The lies they tell about cheaper rates forget about it. If you're having any thoughts about going to Sprint please I beg you reconsider - go someone somewhere else.

We have been with Sprint since 2004! We upgraded in 2013 phones, the Sprint Employee in the store assured us our bill would not go up! IT DID--more than doubled and that was after paying hundreds at the store. We were told we would save money if we added the home phone service, we did NOT save money, in fact we were never able to get it connected properly. Calling Sprint (after the contract was signed) made no difference, Sprint could care less, and would not let us out of the contract. A few months ago, my husband was told he would have to pay until May 2015. A few months ago we went into the Sprint store to get our daughter a phone to replace the one which had been stolen more than a year prior and we were offered a speaker which was over $400.
The sales rep said "we" would not have to pay that price, I seem to recall a number thrown out around $250----Ahhh no matter what was said, we are now paying the FULL price. We were offered a FREE tablet, and told that we could return it if we weren't happy with it! I am not happy with it and really don't use it, because there is so much AD interference that it just is not worth the time. When we contacted Sprint about returning it, a comment was made about our Internet Service and Sprint goes on its merry way trapping customers. We moved to another city nearby the end of November 2014. Sprint has been billing us for both cities since December, not just the taxes but also the city utility charges. The Sprint rep said she would put in a request claim, but transferred me when I said I would file a complaint with the FCC for illegally charging me excessive fees: Over $8 for the utilities and over $6 for the city taxes.
The Sprint rep even LIED to the employee I was transferred to saying that a family member on our plan still had their billing in the city we moved from. I said that was a lie because we pay for all the phones. Then and only then did those adjustments were addressed. So then there was payment arrangements when my husband called in April 2, 2015 he made a payment of 150 some then worked out a payment plan to pay $250 or $260 before April 30, 2015--explaining that he had a job change etc. He worked out removing the HIGH unlimited data charges and the Sprint rep said out bill would be $250 or so.
Well, April 23, 2015 we received a new bill with NEW charges and back fees of over $900 (When we moved in November we were receiving data coverage notices, so we called to have the data issues addressed. Even though Sprint employees said it would go into effect immediately, it did not! Then out of fear----sold us the unlimited data plans.)! Then a letter threatening shutoff if we didn't pay $460 some within six days, and the texts from Sprint regarding the bill issue! Sprint Employee (Can't use Customer Service anymore with Sprint), said that NO NOTES WERE made in the computer regarding the payment arrangements. The home phone was still in place and the new data plan would not come out until May 2015. After eleven years I can say that since 2013 when we "upgraded" to the iPhone 5c not once has a VERBAL agreement been honored by Sprint!

Sprint promises they will give you $350 for switching over to them... But what they don't tell you is they will make your life a living hell trying to get the money for switching over. I switched from At&t to them... Have to pay at&t out of my pocket, money I don't have because sprint lied... Still trying to get my money from them. Don't switch, you'll regret it!!!!!

I purchased a new Samsung Galaxy phone from Best Buy that unfortunately for me was a Sprint prepaid phone. Upon activating the phone over the phone I selected a plan that I thought also included unlimited data. But boy was I wrong. I hadn't had my phone for two weeks and my 1GB of data was depleted. They graciously gave me another 1GB for free and told me that from now on that I should turn off my mobile data. So now I have to constantly be inconvenienced by having to turn my mobile data on and off. Fortunately I have WIFI in my home so I still have unlimited access to the internet.
I think it's so unfair that they don't make their calling plans absolutely clear. They are the only company that I have dealt with that doesn't have unlimited data. And we aren't even going to start with the poor quality of the calls themselves - most of the times there's so much static that I can barely hear of course that's only when the call doesn't drop. I think their data plans are rip offs. They're the only prepaid that I've had service with that doesn't have unlimited data at an affordable price. I mean really in today's times... what does it matter whether I use 1GB or 10GB - it's not costing them any more... just me and that's all they seem to be concerned with is getting my money. Well I'm going back to my previous provider.

Starting off I was a valued customer at Sprint since 2011. In June of last year when the family plan was going on, I had set up a upgrade for a two year contract for my father in law, and our bill stay at the same rate. I only gave permission for the upgrade. The next month I found out the store representative switched my plan to the family plan. Charged my mother in law 200 dollars for the new phone plus 80 for the switch selling her on the everything will remain the same "words". There were overage charges mind you before the switch without primary account holder permission on my account plus extra 10 dollars for the lines to have 3gbs of data.
When I had unlimited data on all lines, I contacted store manager about the situation and was told that I would be credited each month for overages since this happened. That was never credited my bill went over 300 dollars. Then when we upgraded two other phones we were told we'd get a buyback amount for 240 each phone that the credit can only go towards accessories. Not toward paying the bill, wasn't the case the representative then added the charges on my account for the accessories without my knowledge. And I got a bill for over 800 dollars. I called many times to resolve issue towards my bill and they won't credit for their mistakes.
No one in this company can ever have the same story always something different being told by different people. I ask for a supervisor and will never be directed to a supervisor. I also had someone in store pose as a manager which he wasn't. I told sprint that I would be terminating my services with them because of the issue not getting settled. Now that I cancelled services with them, they aren't providing me with my last bill. The billing date has ended and by now I'd usually have a bill but they stated it may take another week to get it. I'm extremely mad at the time spent over the phone and in online chat with them for myself to keep getting the run around. Crediting a account for 100 dollars, and 30 dollars isn't making anything correct.

Sprint is the worst carrier ever... from representative to managers... avoid being screwed like I did. I opened 2 lines with 2 free phones, 2-yr contract... when I saw the bill, they are charging me for a 15 dollar fee per phone a month. It's no free phone... it's like they are charging me a payment plan. They say it's a service charge then they are charging me 15 dollars per GB if you go over your monthly GB. After asking the representative that opened the contract if there was going to be a charge and she said NO... there will be no charge.
OK... I call within the allowed 14 days to cancel the contract. The representative told me no to cancel right now. She will be putting in a application for the 30 dollar service charge to be removed. I will be getting a call back, which I never did. I called back to cancel my contract. NOW I'M GETTING HIT OVER THE HEAD WITH 350 DOLLAR early termination fee PER PHONE. SPRINT ARE SCAM ARTISTS... STAY AWAY... PLS.

My contract with Sprint was done. They continued to charge me for three months and then sent it to a credit collection company. This is ridiculous. When my contract was up and I did not renew, that should have been an obvious sign that I was not interested in their service anymore.

Stay away from Sprint. I got Sprint iPhone 6 and after I start use it, I found that internet service is not working while I am calling someone, Sprint customer didn't inform me about that. My work need to use internet during call. I returned the phone during the 2 weeks return period. After two weeks from return my Sprint phone and cancel the contract, Sprint sent me bill of $140 and also collection letter. I called the customer service and they said I should back to the store again to solve my bill issue. Save your time and your money, stay away from worst old service and technical support.

The online site is horrible! I forget my passwords, but they make you jump through hoops to get a reset. On top of that, there is no way to reset the pin in case you forget. Why should I double login to check the history on my own account. And instead of giving you the security question you chose, they make you select out of a random poll. I can't remember the question I picked 2 years ago, come on, it was 2 years ago. There is no good help!

Sprint is not an honest company to deal with. They gave you wrong information then their reps tells you that your phone is acting up because you didn't pay your bill on time. Currently I'm under contract with Sprint and it's the WORST THING I have ever done with Sprint. They block my phone that they are charging me the early termination fees then if I'm liable to pay that then you're not supposed to block my phone from me going to another carrier. Sprint I will sue you for this.
